Ware started diving when she was 7 along with her older sister. The two young girls were at the public pool with their dad Patrick who told them that if they did a front somersault off the diving board, he’d get them a Popsicle. Once they learned the trick, he told them that if landed a back somersault, he would take them to Dairy Queen for an ice cream. They were up to the challenge. One of the lifeguards gave their dad the Agami Diving Club’s phone number, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Over the years, Ware has won her share of individual medals in the 3m events, most notably the bronze medal at the 2018 FINA World Cup and 2015 FINA World Championships on 3m. She also took silver at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Pamela, a Rio 2016 Olympian, is well-known for her incredible strength, which allows her to push the board down further and jump higher than most female divers.
Ware loves to cook and plans on attending cooking school once she retires from diving. In the meantime, she loves to try new restaurants all over Montreal.
