Tatiana Conn was born and raised in Calgary, but moved to Toronto in 2018 to train at the Academy under head coach Gilles Emptoz-Lacote. She was only 14 when she made the decision to move East, she was accompanied by her mother and sister but still found it tough to adjust. She now enjoys the training environment and has made a lot of new friends.
Conn entered the 2021 season recovering from elbow surgery, she was injured in February 2020 while executing a handstand dive and underwent surgery in August 2020. Her focus is getting back to the shape she was in prior to the injury.
She started diving at a summer camp at age six and she was identified and invited to take lessons. Conn was also a gymnast until age 10 which she said helped her with her diving. But it was diving that she enjoyed the most because of the water and adrenaline rush.
Career highlights included three top-10’s at the 2018 World Junior Championships, silver on platform at the 2019 Junior Pan Ams and she also achieved the international scores at nationals to attend Grand Prix events in 2020.
