Jeff Feeney Appointed as New CEO of Diving Plongeon Canada
OTTAWA – The Board of Directors of Diving Plongeon Canada (DPC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeff Feeney as its next Chief Executive Officer. Feeney, who currently serves as DPC’s Senior Director of Business Development, will officially assume the role in January 2027. To ensure a seamless transition, outgoing CEO Penny Joyce will mentor and support Feeney for the remainder of 2026.
Feeney first joined DPC as an intern in 2008 and has since progressed through increasingly senior roles within the organization. Over that time, he has played a significant role in DPC’s operational and commercial growth. A proven leader in event hosting, marketing, and communications, he successfully designed and executed DPC’s national and international hosting strategy, establishing Canada as a premier global partner in the sport.
“Jeff is deeply dedicated to diving and brings a powerful combination of sport knowledge, resourcefulness, creativity, and strategic vision to this leadership role,” said DPC President Heather Turner. “His business expertise and deep relationships, both nationally and internationally, make him uniquely qualified to guide our organization into its next chapter.”
Outgoing CEO Penny Joyce shared her full endorsement: “I have complete confidence in Jeff’s ability to step into the CEO role. His visionary leadership, paired with the trust and respect he has earned across the Canadian diving and sport communities, will allow our federation to reach new heights.”

Feeney steps into his new role on January 1st as Joyce steps down in December to pursue new opportunities and endeavours after leading the organization for 20 years.
