In 2022, Montreal is hosting the 24th edition of the FINA World Junior Diving Championships.

Held every two years, this championship is the pinnacle event for divers aged 14 to 18.

Throughout 8 days of competition, we will witness 200+ of the world’s top junior springboard and tower divers compete for world titles. These athletes will make up the majority of the competitive field at both the 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games.

On pool deck over 40 nations will be represented, making this the largest diving event hosted in Canada since the 2005 FINA World Aquatic Championships.

The competitive program will include individual 1m, 3m, and tower events, 3m and 10m synchro events, and a mixed gender team event.

Divers will be separated by age (group A – 16 to 18, group B – 14 to 15) and gender (boys, girls, and mixed)

For the first time ever, junior-aged high diving (12m and 15m) is on the schedule and we are excited to witness this discipline on display!
