The FINA Diving Grand Prix begins in Calgary, Canada
Canada will host 68 of the world’s best divers representing eight countries who are ready to make a splash in Calgary for the lone North American stop of the FINA Diving Grand Prix set for the MNP Community and Sport Centre, June 9-12.
The FINA Diving Grand Prix returns to Calgary following a two-year hiatus. The Grand Prix competition schedule includes all Olympic events including women’s and men’s 3m springboard, 10m platform, 3m springboard synchro, and 10m platform synchro along with two mixed synchro finals
“We love that we have a competition before World Championships. I’m really excited to see what this young team can do. We’re encouraged by what we saw at the recent Summer Nationals in Victoria, I think we have a hell of a crew.” said Mitch Geller, Chief technical officer at Diving Canada.
“What we’re looking for is consistency and stability, and ability to get in there and make the most of every single dive.”
