About Carson Paul
Carson John Joseph Paul, born on September 30, 2004, in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, is a distinguished Canadian diver. He is the son of Terry Paul, the 1992 Olympic rowing champion and former head rowing coach for Canada, and Ingrid. Carson has two siblings, Ava and Oliver.
Carson attended Claremont Secondary School in Cordova Bay, British Columbia. During his high school years, he showcased his diving prowess by earning a silver medal on the one-meter springboard and a bronze on the platform at the 2019 Junior Nationals. The same year, he secured a silver medal on the platform at the Dresden International Junior Meet, highlighting his potential on the international stage.
In 2022, Carson committed to Louisiana State University (LSU), joining their esteemed swimming and diving program. Carson attributes much of his success to the supportive environment at LSU, stating that the university’s emphasis on valuing athletes created a welcoming atmosphere that fostered his growth.
Carson Paul’s journey from a promising young diver in British Columbia to a celebrated athlete on both collegiate and international platforms exemplifies his dedication, resilience, and passion for the sport of diving.
