Canadian divers win three medals at the 2022 British Elite Junior Diving Championships
Six young Canadian junior divers competed as guests at the 2022 British Elite Junior Diving Championships, held in Southend on Sea from April 13th to 15th.
The team was comprised of Renée Batalla (Boardworks), Arnaud Corbeil (CAMO), Olivier Gauthier (CAMO), Michelle McLeod (White Rock), Sonya Palkhivala (PCDC) and Samuel Talbot (CAMO), as well as coaches Devon Butters (L’Envol) and Isabelle Cloutier (CAMO).
Many divers stood out over the course of the event, in particular, gold medallist Renée Batalla (platform – A), silver medallist Arnaud Corbeil (platform – B) and bronze medallist Olivier Gauthier (1m – A). All Canadian divers also qualified for at least one final during the event.
